Laser Pico Sailing Course – Double-Handed
The Laser Pico is a stable and versatile dinghy that can be sailed by two people. Thanks to its jib, teamwork plays a key role and you’ll quickly learn how to sail together efficiently. The Laser Pico performs well in almost all weather conditions and is perfect for both sporty beginners and more experienced young sailors. With its stable hull, self-draining cockpit and easy-to-handle mainsail, this boat helps students build confidence on the water. Capsizing is part of the fun — that’s why we provide wetsuits! Good to know
Course information
The May and summer courses run from Monday to Friday (unless stated otherwise). Days start at 09:30 and finish at 17:00.
The Saturday course consists of 5 consecutive Saturdays, from 10:00 to 16:00. Please bring your own lunch, snacks and enough water.
Safety first
Safety is our top priority. All participants are required to wear a life jacket at all times on site — we provide these. Closed shoes are mandatory, and our instructors follow strict safety procedures both on and around the water.

Sailing School Uitgeest is part of Sailing School & Boat Rental Het Uitgeestermeer and applies the HISWA terms and conditions. Besides sailing lessons, you can also come to us for staff outings, Caribbean Bar party venue, meeting room, youth sailing lessons, adult sailing lessons and surf lessons.
