Our adult courses on the Polyvalk allow you to learn sailing at your own pace. We tailor each course to your level and goals. Whether you are a beginner or want to improve your skills, we have a course that suits you. With a CWO-certified instructor, you'll focus on technique, boat handling, and confidence on the water.

Based on your experience and goals, we will personally guide you to the right course so you can confidently get on the water.
We are very flexible! During the season, lessons can be scheduled 7 days a week from 09:30 to 21:00. Let us know your availability and we will check if an instructor is available. Whether you prefer weekends, evenings, or weekdays, it can all be arranged. In early and late season, we do take sunset times into account to avoid sailing in the dark.
Warm clothing is essential as it feels colder on the water than on land. Bring enough warm layers, and a rain suit is always handy—even if it doesn’t rain! It helps block wind and keeps you comfortable. There’s plenty of space on board for your belongings. Wear flexible shoes with a solid sole—most sneakers work fine as long as they aren’t completely smooth. Bring enough food and drinks, and a waterproof case for your phone if needed. We provide a life jacket and a waterproof container for valuables.
Sailing School Uitgeest is part of Sailing School & Boat Rental Het Uitgeestermeer and applies the HISWA terms and conditions. Besides sailing lessons, you can also come to us for staff outings, Caribbean Bar party venue, meeting room, youth sailing lessons, adult sailing lessons and surf lessons.
