Feel the wind on your sail as you glide across the Uitgeestermeer. With your feet firmly on the Starboard board, the instructor will guide you through jibes and planing. This is every windsurfer's dream! During our lessons, you progress at your own pace. We start with the basics unless you already have experience. Our lessons are suitable for children from age 10 and adults, with separate groups for each. The modern Starboard Start board is perfect for beginners and advanced surfers alike, letting you train skills and tricks efficiently!

We provide wetsuits, but bring warm clothing for breaks. A rain suit is also recommended—even if it’s not raining—to block the wind. There’s plenty of storage on the surf support boat. Water shoes with good grip are required, as sharp objects may be in the water. Bring a towel, snacks, drinks, and optionally a waterproof case for your phone. We provide life vests and waterproof containers for valuables.
We are very flexible! Lessons can be scheduled 7 days a week throughout the season. Let us know your availability, and we will assign an instructor accordingly. Whether weekends or weekdays, we’ll make it work.
Sailing School Uitgeest is part of Sailing School & Boat Rental Het Uitgeestermeer and applies the HISWA terms and conditions. Besides sailing lessons, you can also come to us for staff outings, Caribbean Bar party venue, meeting room, youth sailing lessons, adult sailing lessons and surf lessons.
